3D confocal microscopy
Immunolocalization of Golgi in GH3 cells. Cells were grown on polylysine-coated
coverslips, fixed with 3% paraformaldehyde, and permeabilized with 0.2% saponin. They were
immunostained for antigens specific to Golgi. Images were collected with a BioRad MRC 600 laser scanning confocal microscope at the Analytical Imaging Facility. Maximum pixel projections for the 360 degree rotation were performed with NIH-Image. The quicktime movie (which you should see spinning at the left) was made with Adobe Premier.
